Thanks a lot for your interest in this Computer-System for roleplaying firefighters, police-officers, emergencies, CI5's, FBI's etc or Sim-Owners, Estate-Managers, Parcel Officers or what ever.
This system is designed to store your reports, written while you were on duty. Everytime you write a notecard about any situation that happend you store it in your inventory. Okay. But what if other also need acces to these informations? Sure you send out this NC to all who has to know about, what had happen. But this could mess up their inventorys by the time. And something could happen, and you forget it.
Now store your reports fast and easy in this system, just by moving it from your inventory to the computer while you press the CTRL-button. You can recall it by a few commands:
~: list - lists all notecards on hdd
~: open - outputs the specified notecard
~: stop - stops the output
~: delete - deletes the specified notecard after acknowledge
~: print - gives the specified to the requesting avatar
~: off - turns the computer off
~: help - this helpfile
After rezzing design your own start-screen and desktop in a program like PAINT, GIMP or something else. Upload the two pictures to SL and get the UUID. Enter this UUID into the config-file you will find in the computer-system.
Very IMPORTANT: The comp must be set to the group which should use it. And if used by group you'll HAVE to click on "Share it with group" without a Deed! Otherwise, othe group-members can't use it.
You start the computer by clicking on it.
Be aware: Because of the privacy others CAN'T see the output of the computer. Everyone in the area of 20m might be able to read all about others, what they might have done good and bad. To avoid this, the computer ONLY sends outputs to the requesting avatar!
